Floor Massage

Traditional Thai Massage

zen shiatsu

I combine Northern and Southern style Thai massage adjusting the sen (energy lines) of the body through acupressure, palming, and extensive stretching.  Thai massage is often called “passive yoga” or "lazy man's yoga" and greatly assists in rebalancing the body and increasing flexibility. Traditional Thai massage is normally done fully clothed on a mat on the floor while wearing loose comfortable clothes, preferably natural fibers.  Thai massage requires a minimum of 90 minutes.

A Japanese style of massage that treats the energy meridians of the body to unblock the flow of ki and help the body meridians and organs rebalance. Usually done fully clothed on a mat on the floor while wearing loose comfortable clothes, preferably natural fibers. Involves acupressure, palming, and stretching.

Integration of two or more massage styles, often focusing on problem areas.  You can specify what you want or simply ask your therapist for an integrative massage.  I normally incorporate some shiatsu into nearly every massage and can easily incorporate some Thai Massage.  Generally done on a table, but integrative floor massage is also an option.

Foot massage that focuses on pressure points and "reflex points" in the foot that corresponds to the parts of the body, including specific organs and glands. Stimulating the appropriate regions is intended to eliminate energy blockages to help the body to rebalance itself and to reduce pain in the related areas.

Rossiter System® Workouts put you in charge of your own program to restore healthy tissue function and mobility fast!  May significantly reduce chronic pain and help avoid the need for surgery. The Rossiter system targets your body's connective tissue, a head-to-toe network of ligaments, tendons and fascia that holds everything together. These pin and stretch techniques use weight and active stretching to loosen and lengthen the entire network of tissue to its natural state.   I provide coaching and weight for Level 1 Rossiter workouts -- you do the work and are in charge of your own workout.  The Rossiter System helps keep your body healthy, supple and pain-free naturally.  Prevent and relieve pain, regain and build range of motion, enhance performance with breakthrough stretches.  Requires motivation, a willingness to work hard, and acceptance of bruising. Not suitable for anyone who has recently (within 12-24 hours) used aspirin or other prescriptions or over the counter pain or inflammation reduction drugs and use of other medications may also make the techniques unsuitable.  Not suitable for anyone who has had recent surgery, and appropriate techniques may be limited by prior surgery, implants, or prior use of cortisone shots.  Not recommended for women who are pregnant.  Great for motivated individuals who want fast results and are willing to work for it.  Normal workout times are approximately 20-30 minutes, but you decide how much you want -- workouts for particular areas of the body may be as short as five to ten minutes and significant relief and increased range of motion may be achieved in minutes.
